1886 - Gravesend & Dartford Reporter (Saturday January 1st 1887) George Gurr (15) of 27 College Street, was summonded for assaulting Charles Ferdinand Edwards (9) of High Street, on the 1st December. The evidence showed that defendant struck complainant with a whip, and the Bench imposed a fine of 5s. and 10s. costs, and in default he was committed for seven days.

1939 - missing from the 1939 Register as Charles and Ada are living on Jersey (Langford, Mont Millais, St Helier) throughout WW2.
