Nettie Florine Edwards was born on Sep. 4, 1873 in North Carolina and died on Feb. 12, 1941 in North Carolina,^[1] the daughter of Charles L. Edwards and Sallie Powell.^[2]

She married James Hugh Hoyle on May 8, 1889 in Warren County, North Carolina.^[3]

She married Paul Porter after 1910 and before 1920.

She died on February 12, 1941, in Henderson, Vance County, North Carolina.^[2]
