Possible name: Joshua Milton Elder, per undocumented source
Possible Birth: 14 May 1820, per undocumented source
Possible Death: 23 Oct 1828, per undocumented source
Place of Birth: assume Clarke Co, Georgia, where parents were living.
Note: Edmonds Elder lived in Clarke Co, Georgia from at least 1810-1870
I do not doubt Edmonds Elder had a son this age (actually 2 sons this age), however I cannot locate any documents to confirm the name JOSHUA.
Two unidentified sons of Edmonds:
1) Edmonds Elder's 1820 census in Clarke Co. GA, shows 2 males, age < 10.
2) Edmonds Elder's 1830 census show both these 2 males have disappeared.
3) There are no marriage/census records in Clarke Co GA to account for them.
There are other ELDER males in 1830 Clarke Co. GA, who fit this description of born 1811-20. However, these "others" can be located on their parents census in 1830, with the exception of an unidentified male child of David Elder(1766), who also went missing before 1830.
Therefore, assume Edmond's two sons b.1811-20, who died before 1830.
Also assume David's son b.1811-20, also died before 1830.
Another unlikely possibility is that all 3 missing male ELDERs were married/living in another county. This is unlikely, because their age in 1830 would be age 10-19.
