Obituary

Mrs. Anna Lorinda Billingsley, 53, wife of R.C.Billingsley, 1514 E. Main St. died in the Cushing Hospital at 6 P.M.Friday following an illness of 5 days. Mrs. Billingsley was born at Stratford, Oklahoma on September 17, 1909 and came to Cushing with her parents the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Eldridge in 1925. With the exception of a few years she lived in Missouri, she has lived here since that time.
She was married to George D. Riley November 30, 1930 in Cushing. He preceeded her in death in September 1953.
December 22, 1955 she was married to R.C.Billingsley in Cushing and with her husband owned and operated the Billingsley Discount Store on East Main Street.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Relatives who survive include her husband R.C. Billingsley, of the home, one daughter, Mrs Dan Roush of Healdton, Oklahoma; one son Dan Riley with the Peace Corp, Holy Cross Mission, Kailahun, Sierra Leone, West Africa; one brother Sim A Eldridge of Cushing, 3 sisters, Mrs. Ress Adams of Spencer,Oklahoma, Mrs Clyde Boyles of Vinita,Oklahoma, Mrs. H.C.Sutton of Thomas, Oklahoma; 2 step-sons, Rudolph Billingsley of Oklahoma City,Oklahoma, Bob Billingsley of Cushing, one step-daughter, Mrs. David (Lois) Haymes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; One grandson, Joe Dan Roush of Healdton, Oklahoma; 7 step-grandchildren & other relatives.
