Biography
Anna Jane was born on October 24, 1838. [1] Her husband, J.S. Griffith, died in The Civil War. In the 1890 Census, she is living with the son-in-law, John Sharp Blackwell, and daughter, Mary Griffith Blackwell, and she is listed as the mother of two living children. Her place of birth is recorded as South Carolina. She is not listed in the John Sharp household in the 1910 Census.
She was buried at Antioch Baptist Church in Lawrence County, Mississippi. [2]
