Biography

Mary Elliot was born on 27 January 1640 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony, daughter of Francis Eliot (1615–1677) and Mary Saunders (1619–1697).

Mary married Caleb Hobart (born in Wymondham, Norfolk, England; son of Thomas Hobart and Anne (Plomer) Hobart) on 17 April 1662 in Braintree, Suffolk. Their known children were:

1. Mary Hobart (12 January 1664 – 19 April 1743)
2. Caleb Hobart (28 May 1665 – unknown)
3. Elizabeth Hobart (4 February 1666 – unknown)
4. Hannah Hobart (10 October 1668 – before 1704)
5. Josiah Hobart (11 December 1670 – unknown)
6. Peter Hobart (about 1673 – 14 June 1751)

Mary died about 1675 in Hingham, Suffolk.
