Mary Elliot was born on 27 January 1640 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony, daughter of Francis Eliot (1615–1677) and Mary Saunders (1619–1697).
Mary married Caleb Hobart (born in Wymondham, Norfolk, England; son of Thomas Hobart and Anne (Plomer) Hobart) on 17 April 1662 in Braintree, Suffolk. Their known children were:
Mary died about 1675 in Hingham, Suffolk.
