57 Samuel, b. Feb. 25, 17 14-15 ; m. Nov. 17, 1742, Abigail Elliot, who d. May 27, 1759 1 2d, Anna White. This Samuel was the father of Dea. John and Major Andrew Nichols, who were both grandparents of Dr. Andrew Nichols, a physician of Danvers. A genealogy of the Nichols family, written by Mr. Andrew Nichols, son of Dr. Andrew (Essex Inst. Coll,, Vol. Ill, p. 29), has furnished part of the data of this account. ^[1] p. 64
