Biography

Mary was born in 1883. She is the second daughter of John Elliott and Christina Kerr.

On 17 September 1902 she married Henry Godfrey Hinton in Riverton. Mary was 19 and Henry Hinton aged 23. [1]

Mary and Henry had 7 children in their marriage,

Mary Hinton died in 1952 aged 69 and is buried at Riverton Cemetery, Riverton, Southland.
