Marriage
Jennie married Thomas Foster Carr Elgey on the 9 January 1926 in BLYTH, Northumberland, England.[4]They had five daughters Jean, Ruth, Pat, Mary and Isobel
They all moved to Wales when granddad found work in the chemical works, I am uncertain as to what year this was but I believe it was about 1950
I remember visiting nana in Wales several times, but only have vague memories of granddad as he died when we lived in Kenya. Nana never appeared to be very happy, apparently my grandad had an affair and nana found out when she received a letter meant for the other lady. She believed children should be seen but not heard... difficult when we arrived as a family of six.
Death
She died in Swansea, Port talbot, West Glamorgan Wales on the 2nd July 1975 [5] After a short illness. Nana is buried with granddad in the cemetrey
