Biography
Graduate of Franklin College, now the University of Georgia A teacher and minister of the methodist faith Plantation 10 miles north of Wetumpka AL "A.M. degree, Phi Kappa Literary society. Entered Franklin College in 1875. Methodist Minister and Teacher. Taught at Jefferson Hall. Minister of Georgia Conference, sent to St. Augustine, Fla. Sent to Oaks Bowery, AL. Plantation in Coosa County now Elmore County." Married a widow. Buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Leeds, AL. "Relative family names include: Barnett, Crane, Carltons, Morton, and Hart surnames in Georgia. Kings, Brownfields, and Dales in Alabama."
