- Then we have a marriage record:
- 20 November 1793, Saint Matthew Friday Street, London, John Elliott and Lydia Brome !! [4]
- Conclusion : Samuel needs to be changed to John, and Brome is probably correct, with Brown and Broome being transcription errors, but one really needs to see the baptism and marriage documents to judge.
