Biography

Selina was born in the 2nd quarter of 1845, citing Birth Registration, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.^[1] According to the 1851 census she was born at Austonley, Yorkshire, England.^[2] Selina was born to the parents of Mary Hirst and Robert Ellis, which are listed in the 1851 and 1861 census, along with some of her brothers and sisters and a niece and nephew.^[3]

Selina was married in the 3rd quarter of 1866, to John Hollingworth. He was the son of Hannah Dawson^[4] and Henry Hollingworth. The marriage was registered at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.^[5]

Selina died in the 4th quarter of 1868, at the age of 23, citing Death, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.^[6] The 1871 census shows John widowed and not yet remarried.^[7]
