On February 7, 1719, he married Anna Clarke, the daughter of Thomas Clarke and and Susannah (Miller) Clarke^{[5] [4] [3] [1]}, and their children, included:

1. Abigail, born 19 Nov 1720^[6], who married Edmund Muxom, son of Samuel and Abigail (Perry) Muxom^{[3] [1]}
2. Gideon, born 16 Dec 1722^[7], who married Rebecca Perry^{[3] [1]}
3. Thomas, born 25 April 1724^[8], who died young^{[3] [1]}
