George was born about 1863. He is the son of Andrew Ellis.
George Caswell Ellis was born 1/24/1860 in Choctaw County, AL. The family removed to Grimes Co, TX 1865-1871. Removed near Sacramento, CA 1871-1879. Removed to Elk Creek, CA in 1879, where he later married Virginia Lee Millsaps and owned an impressive ranch. They had children James, Ethel, Thomas, Estella, Annie, and Lee. George was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge 189 in Willows, CA. George passed away in 1935.
Buried: Grindstone Cemetery, Glenn County, California.
