According to the DAR citation, this Thomas died 18 Mar 1800, so is not the one who died 1812 in Rochester nor Jamaica
Thomas was born in 1744. He passed away in 1800.

The will of Thomas Ellis of Plymouth was dated 23 November 1795 and proved on 4 June 1800 in Plymouth. He mentioned his wife Jerusha, and his children, Betsey Swife, Lydia Morey, Polly Ellis, Lucy Ellis, Nathaniel Ellis, William Ellis (executor), and Thomas Ellis. [1]

Ellis-7114 and Ellis-2586 appear to represent the same person because: Possible duplicate. Father of Lucy Eilis on both profiles. A merge of two Lucy Ellises has been proposed. Lucy Lucy married a Hunnewell Haskell in both profiles.
