Nathan Bucknam Ellis was born on October 16, 1764, the son of Asa Ellis and Margaret Bucknam. [1] He married Thankfull Barrett on May 26, 1791 in Brookfield, Worcester, Massachusetts. [2]
He died in Brookfield on September 6, 1819. There appear to be two headstones in Worcester for him and his wife, both with the same dates of their deaths on them: one is at South Cemetery, Oakham, Worcester, Massachusetts.[3] and the second is at Pine Grove Cemetery, West Brookfield, Massachusetts. [4]
His will was filed 6 April 1819, the year of this death.[5]
According to his will he had eight children living when he died: (in will order) Elizabeth, Mary, Caroline, Lucy Barrett, Susan, Baxter, Calvin, and Gaius.[5]
