24 March 1850 Fanny Ellis was baptised in Tasburgh, Norfolk. She was the daughter of William Ellis and Elizabeth Ellis.[1]

3 April 1881 Census Fanny Ellis (31) of Hempnall, Norfolk, housekeeper, was living with father William (61) of Hempnall, Norfolk, widower, veterinary surgeon and farmer of 10 acres employing 1 man, and siblings Elizabeth (21) of Hempnall, Norfolk, and William (19) of Hempnall, Norfolk, assistant, at Old Fairstead, Hempnall, Norfolk.[2]
