Biography

Daniel was born 14 January 1853, in Great Barrington, Berkshire, Massachusetts. He was the son of Daniel Ellis and Catherine Funk. In 1860, the family is living in New Marlboro, Massachusetts.[1]

On 1 October 1875, 22 year old Daniel married 17 year old Elizabeth Nate (or Lake as some records show), daughter of Samuel and Mariah Nate, in Otis, Massachusetts.[2]

In 1880, farmer Daniel, his wife Elizabeth, and their two daughters ar living in Otis, Massachusetts.[3]

Daniel died at age 73 on 2 March 1926, in Hartford, Connecticut. [6]
