This is my grandpa, my mom’s dad. He was always involved in our family. He died from diabetes complications. His dad, Jackson Ellis, Of the Cherokee Nation tribe, was a Indian guard and sheriff among other careers. His mother was the daughter of Principal Chief N J Smith of the Eastern Band Cherokees. His parents met when his mother Cordelia Smith was attending school at the Indian women’s seminary.

James Blair Ellis, my personally known grandpa, is seemingly both Ellis 9908 and Ellis 9502 but his mother, my great grandmother, Cordelia Smith Ellis 103961has the wrong birthplace and birthdate. Cordelia Smith Ellis was born in 1862 in Beaverdam NC to Principal Chief Nimrod Jarrett and Mary Robert’s Smith, their first child.

Ellis-9908 and Ellis-9502 do not represent the same person because: Many James Ellis’s at that time and area. Mother’s birthday is different. Not enough specific info on one of the profiles to keep to keep from being confused with different James Ellis’s and there was at least two other Cordelia Ellis with a birth year of 1856 and the correct mother was definitely born as the first child of EBC Principal Chief N J Smith in 1862

I think if you look again you'll find that both mother are duplicates and that they have the same father.

Ellis-9908 and Ellis-9502 do not represent the same person because: I personally knew Blair Ellis...he never used his first name. He was my grandfather. He died when I was around 12 years old. He lived on our land and property for his last two addresses. My grandfather’s grave is in DeSoto Ks with his first wife Mahala Hignite Ellis. His father was Captain Jack W. Ellis, a Cherokee, with the Indian police in Indian Territory OKla. and his mother Cordelia Smith Ellis, daughter of principal chief N J Smith of the Eastern Band Cherokee’s
