Refused to free her slave in 1782 when urged to do so by other Quakers. This appears to have been a scandal and she claimed that the slave didn't want to be freed.

A merge was completed even though a note on bio stating parents were changed to facilitate a merge. The merge was done with the wrong parents.
Thomas isn't a child of this couple. Henrico Monthly Meeting records (Virgina) by Hinshaw (page 172) lists G.R. Ellyson's children.
Ellyson-82 and Ellyson-71 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, birth info, husband.
