"It is not known exactly when the family arrived in the Nauvoo area but census records show they were in the area during the summer of 1844 when Emily gave birth to twin girls who Cleon and Emily named Mary and Martha. It is probable that the family arrived in Illinois right around the time of the martyrdom of the Mormon leader and Prophet Joseph Smith." Baptism
1852
"Cleon is listed as holding the priesthood office of Elder in the minutes of the Nephi Ward on September 26, 1852. The minutes also indicate that Cleon’s son Henry Harvey and twin daughters Mary and Martha were baptized earlier that same year on April 6th probably in the Salt Creek." Cleon and Emily Clark Elmer: American Frontiersmen and Mormon Pioneers; By V. Trent Jackson, a 3rd Great-Grandson; 2012.
NOTE: Mary and Martha were marked as twins on the original form.
