Biography
William A Elmer was born in Alameda, California to Henry Harvey Elmer and Emma Amelia Knapp. He married Dora Bell Robertson in Kansas before moving to Oregon. They arrived in Baker county before moving onto a farm in High Valley in Union county. Eventually they were able to purchase a farm in Cove.
He is buried in the Elmer family plots in the Summerville Oregon cemetery next to his wife and many other Elmers and relatives.
