Biography
Jane Elwell, daughter of John Elwell and Jane Durin, was born 23: 11m.: 1671 (23 Jan 1671/2) at Salem, Massachusetts.[1][2][3]
Jane married her cousin, Ebenezer Elwell, son of Samuel and Hester (Dutch) Elwell,[4] on 2 Jan 1695 in Gloucester, Massachusetts[5] and they had the following children:[3][5]
Charles, b/d.1695;
Jean, b.31 May 1696;
Penelope, 29 Jan 1697/98;
Joseph, b.22 Jul 1699, d.9 May 1721;
Ebenezer, b.1 Mar 1702, d. at sea Jun 1720;
Susanna, b.5 Jul 1709;
Anne, b.15 Apr 1711.
Jane died a widow at Gloucester on 5 Apr 1723, age about 48 years.[5]
