Biography

Nora Emanes was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Justice Precinct 6, Shelby County, Texas for the April 25, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1910 in Texas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jack W Emanes and wife Mrs. Eva Emanes.[1]

Norah Emarris was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Arcadia Road, Justice Precinct 6, Shelby County, Texas for the January 21, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1910 in Texas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jack W Emarris, wife Eva Emarris, son Eloy Emarris, son Walter Emarris, daughter Golda Emarris and son F A Emarris.[2]

Marah Emanis was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Tyler Road, Precinct 1, Nacogdoches County, Texas for the April 15, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1910 in Texas and single. She was a teacher in a public school as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jack W Emanis, wife Eva J Emanis, son Eloy Emanis, daughter Golda Emanis, son Frank A Emanis, daughter Charlcie Emanis and daughter Billie M Emanis.[3]

Nara Emanis Hughes is buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Center, Shelby County, Texas.[4]
