Jane Empson was born about 1450 in Towcester, Northamptonshire, England. Her family name has not been proven and the only reference to her is the tenuous evidence of an entail she may have had lands in Buckinghamshire.[1]
Jane survived her husband who was executed on 17 Aug 1510.[2]

Empson-22 and Hill-14988 are not ready to be merged because: I'd like to complete this merge-- Empson is probably wrong (it's her maiden name) ,but there is no source information to support HILL as LNAB. Anyone got a source for HILL?
Empson-35 and Empson-22 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same people, but Empson is the maiden name and the dates need cleaned up. Thanks!
Hi Jacques Charles, thank you for adopting Empson-35. According to sources I have listed on Richard Empson-3, Jane Empson-35 is Richard's wife, and is the mother of Jane Empson, Richard's daughter. BUT she could not have married Richard in 1530: he was executed in 1510, and she d. 1498. Richard Empson had two known sons: Thomas and John, (and four daughters - Elizabeth, Joan, Jane and 1st name unknown). Jane's b. date of 1438 makes sense if Richard was b. 1434. 1434 works with dau. Anne b 1472, dau Joan b 1489. Still a problem w/dau. Jane wife of John Pinchon. see p 865 and chart on facing page, in 'Gleanings' by Waters.
