Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1806 in Jeckenbach, Hesse, German Empire to Jacob Engel and Maria Catherine Schneider (1773-). She married Jacob Seltzer in Germany. They had a family. They emigrated to the United States between 1836 and 1839 (Francisca was born in Germany in 1836 and Catherine was born in Ohio in 1839).[1][2][3] She died in 1888.[4]
