Stockely H. Enochs' Will

In the name of God Amen I Stokely H. Enochs being sound in memory blessed be God do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in the words following to wit, first I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife Jane Enochs a negro Girl named Mariah, and her further Increase during her natural life or widdowhod then to be equally divided my heirs Miles I Enochs Thomas T. Enochs Jason A Enochs, Marjory A. Enochs also one Bay Mare, Three Beds and furniture One Beaurow I give to Jane Enochs my wife Second I further will that all the rest of my property be Sold at Public auction on a credit of Twelve months for the use of my heirs above named after paying all my just Debts I also nominate and appoint Jane Enochs my wife and Thompson Enochs as Executors to this my Last Will and Testament

Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of us this fifteenth day of November in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Six.

Matlock, James Howard, Fielding Veasey, Amos Avin, Samuel Fowler, James Burrow, John Ozburn, George Sullivan, Solomon Cooper, Solomon Seal, David Crockett, James Strickland, James Gee, R.E.C.
