Hi Melinda!

Thank you for your decision to contribute. WikiTreers have all sorts of skills, but one common interest - genealogy. I would recommend first looking around and become familiar with the various functions.

The main menu, located at the top right of the page, offers access to the most important features amongst them your Wiki-ID. In the help section »G2G« at the bottom, you’ll find the WikiTree online help. You can ask all sorts of questions, technical and others, and because WikiTree is worldwide, there is almost always someone online, who can give a qualified answer. Good luck! - And don't forget to sign the Honor Code. Pleasure to have you onboard.

Hi! I'm a former medical transcriptionist and secretary for the local police department. I've been working on my genealogy off and on since 2000, but have really gotten the bug since I retired 3 years ago and I'm now working full steam ahead! I'm married, have 2 married kids, and a terrific granddaughter. We also have 3 dachshunds and I love to work with rescued animals. That's me in a nutshell!
