Biography
Yvonne P Ervin was born in 1925 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of Snyder and Precious Humble Ervin.[1][2]
In the 1930 census[3] taken on 8 Apr 1930 Yvonne P Ervin was living with her parents, Snider D and Precious P Ervin at 413 W Third Street in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee.

- On February 8, 2021 heaven gained a precious angel. Precious Yvonne Mercier was ... born in 1925 and raised in Chattanooga, TN. A true Southern Belle, she was crowned Miss Chattanooga 1938. She married the love of her life, Sidney Gibson, at the young age of 16, before he left with the Army Air Corps to serve in World War II. Together they raised 3 children... After the loss of her husband and son, Patrick, in a ballooning accident, she remarried. Trafton Mercier showed her years of happiness before passing in 1997... Precious was predeceased by her first husband, Sidney Gibson; her son, Patrick Gibson; her husband Trafton Mercier; her sister, Reita Stockham; and her brother, Dan Ervin; along with her parents, Precious Humble and Snyder Ervin... Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery...
