Biography

Parents: Isaac Newton Erwin 1817 - 1883 and Phoebe Rilla (Trim) Erwin 1820 - 1898.

Martha Elizabeth was born in 1844 in Washington, Tennessee, USA. In the 1860 census, Martha (age 16) was in Beat 3, Fannin, Texas.[1]

Martha (age 19) married M C Martindale (age 21) on 20 July 1863.[2] Their daughter was Hattie O. Martindale (1876 - 1925).

In the 1880 census, Martha (age 30), Housekeeper, was the wife of C. Martindale in Red Land, Dorsey, Arkansas, United States.[3]

Martha died on 13 March 1899 and was buried in McFarland Cemetery, Banks, Bradley County, Arkansas, United States.[4]
