Biography

She was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Andreas Eschenbach and Catharina Müntz, and came to North Carolina in 1768, arriving on October 31.[1]

On December 16, 1771, she married Charles Holder, the saddle-maker in the Moravian town of Salem. They were the parents of five children, two of whom died in childhood.[2]

She is buried in Salem Moravian God's Acre in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina. [3]
