Research Notes
"A chancery suit between Elisha and his brother Moses lists Elisha as being born between Thomas (c.1688) and Robert (c.1695). [citation needed] With the estimated dob's of the daughters, that would suggest that Elisha was born c.1693/4. Note also that Elisha was a co-executor of his mother's will, made in 1721, which means by then Elisha was comfortably of age and of sufficient financial standing to guarantee any debts etc.-- highly unlikely for a young man of just 18 years. In fact the law required him to be 21 or more to be named executor, so the evidence indicates he was born before 1700." [3]

Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
The date of birth in the data field (1703) is different from the one in the biography (1693). The 1703 data is causing a "suggestion" that he was too young to have been the father of that first child, born way ahead of the others, in 1712.
I am interested in documentation of his wife. There are two profiles on Find a Grave, one listing her maiden name as MUMFORD, but another listing it as STONE and giving the names of parents. If anyone as any more informationa about her, I hope they will add to her profile.
Estes-1335 and Estes-95 appear to represent the same person because: Same mother and same siblings. Barbara Brock is recorded to have one child named Elisha, and the child was male.
