George Washington Estes was born February 27, 1812, in Henry County, Kentucky to Fielding Estes. He married Eleanor Clay Jan.31,1839 Ripley Co.Ark. He was a merchant and lived in Ft. Smith, Ark. To this marriage 7 Sons were born.Robert Columbus, Eleazar Monroe, Henry Clay, Andrew H.,George W, William G., and Francis M. [1]
