According to his obituary, Tommy Renfro married Phyllis Renfro August 6, 1950. They had five children--Terry, Tommy, Timothy, Nancy, and Rebecca. He was a private in the U. S. Army for seven years. He worked as a truck driver for the City of Grand Junction for over thirty years. He was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita, Colorado.
