Estes-726 and Estes-599 appear to represent the same person because: they seem to be the same person, no conflicts, what information is had is common to them.

Estes-1686 and Estes-726 appear to represent the same person because: Same Birth year, POB, POD.

Death date off by 1 day, suggest using Illinois Soldier Burial Places as official record and not Find A Grave, which is someone's intepretation. Death Date: 28 Feb 1846 [1] Gravestone photo difficult to decipher, but looks like 28 and not 27. [2]
