Biography

Delana (Laney) Estey was born on July 2, 1822, in Durham Bridge, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of Samuel Estey and Mary Hafford. Her father, Samuel, was 42, and her mother, Mary, was 35. She married Samuel B Bubar on July 2, 1846,[1] in York, New Brunswick, Canada. They had nine children in 18 years. She died on May 13, 1904, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, having lived a long life of 81 years, and was buried in the Nashwaak Centennial United Church Cemetery, Nashwaak, York County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2][3][4]
