John Francis Eubank was born May 31, 1826 in Monroe County, Kentucky, a son of Thomas Kent Eubank and Jane Parrock. He married Mary Elizabeth “Maryetta” Gumm (1847-1923); they had five known children. John passed away October 1, 1919 and was buried at Bethlehem Cemetery, Mud Lick, Monroe County, Kentucky.
