Biography

Alfred Eubanks is a part of US Black heritage.
Alfred was Choctaw.

Alfred Eubanks was born into slavery, and was enslaved by Osburn Fisher.[1][2]

Alfred married Mahala Boyd. He later married Maria Flack.

Alfred was listed with his children and two stepsons in the 1885 Census of Choctaw and Chickasaw Freedmen.[3] Alfred was on the 1896 roll of Choctaw-Chickasaw Freedmen in 1896 in Tobucksy County, a part of the Moshulatubbee District, or First District, of the Choctaw Nation of Indian Territory.[4][5] He was enrolled on 6 September 1899.[1] Alfred was on the Choctaw Freedmen roll on 8 April 1903 in Oklahoma.[6] He received land allotments due to his enrollment as a Choctaw freedman.[7]

Alfred died on 23 September 1914 and was buried in North McAlester Cemetery, McAlester, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, United States.[8]
