Her age in later census records indicates the widowed Mrs. Fox was barely twenty years old. Her family's census indicates that she left behind one child, Louisa Fox, with her father and mother.
The United States Census, 1870[4] found John Eubanks, a 33 year old white male, born in Georgia, living in Marshall County, Alabama. With him were his wife Margaret and their four children. John worked as a farmer. Margaret's occupation was keeping house, and Margaret was recorded as being unable to read or write.

The United States Census, 1880[5]found John Eubanks, a 43 year old married white male, working as a farmer, born in Georgia to parents both born in South Carolina, living in Lower Lafave, Yell County, Arkansas. In this census record, Leticia was not recorded with an occupation but Joseph, Sophrona and Julia were recorded as "At School". However, Leticia was recorded as having attended school in the past year, along with the other three. Leticia and Sophrona had checkmarks under "Cannot Write", and Julia had checkmarks under "Cannot Read" and "Cannot Write". Also in the household was a farm worker named Rufus Pockrus, a 19 year old white male born in Louisiana to parents born in South Carolina.

Margaret C. Boyce Fox Eubanks is presumed to have died sometime between 1880 and 1883. No death record has been found for her and no grave has been recorded in Yell County, Arkansas for her. She would have left behind five children, the youngest no more than six years old at most.
On October 21, 1883 in Yell County, Arkansas, John M Eubanks married Martha Mc Glothland. John was 47 years old, Martha 30, and both of them resided in Yell County, Arkansas. Martha was explicitly indicated as "Miss" on the record, implying it was her first marriage, but number of marriages for each person was not recorded on the document.[6][7]
The United States Census, 1900[8] found John M Eubanks, a 64 year old married white male, born December 1836 in Georgia, living in Cedar Falls & Petit Jean Townships, Conway County, Arkansas. His father was born in Alabama and his mother in Georgia. With him was his wife of 14 years, Martha, Martha's daughter from her first marriage, and three children of John and Martha. Martha was enumerated as the mother of eight children, seven now living. John was a farmer, enumerated as a renter on the farm he lived on.

Martha and John were enumerated as married 26 years, and Martha as the mother of eight children, seven now living. The family lived in a rented home and John worked as a peddler of medicines.
