Biography

On October 16, 1858, John M. Eubanks married a widow named Margaret C. Fox in Marshall County, Alabama.[1][2][3] FamilySearch.org record 273Z-6FF claims her maiden name was Boyce. Her age in later census records indicates the widowed Mrs. Fox was barely twenty years old. Her family's census indicates that she left behind one child, Louisa Fox, with her father and mother.

The United States Census, 1870[4] found John Eubanks, a 33 year old white male, born in Georgia, living in Marshall County, Alabama. With him were his wife Margaret and their four children. John's two wives are listed as having the last name at birth as Eubanks which is their married names. I haven't found any other sources to get their proper last names.
