Thelma Young Eubanks was born on 11 Aug 1906 in Mississippi, USA, to Thomas Young Eubanks (1868 - 1905) and Lulu Gertrude (Stone) Eubanks (1872 - 1916).

She was 13 years old and living in the home of her brother in 1920. The family was living in Beat 1, Leake, Mississippi.^[1]

She (18) married John William Scemons (35) (1889 - 1970) on 4 Jun 1925 in Clarksdale, Coahoma, Mississippi.

Their children were:

1. Hazel Annette (Scemons) Outzs (1929 - 2005)
2. JoAnn Louise (Scemons) Card (1941 - 1998)
3. William Edward Scemons (1943 - 1977).

In 1935 and 1940 she was living with John and four children in Beat 1, Quitman, Mississippi.^[2]

Thelma passed away on 1 Mar 1992 in Bellingham, Whatcom, Washington aged 85. She is buried in White Hill Cemetery, Mississippi.^[3][4][5][6]
