"Gloria Motter: Have been searching for a Caleb Evans for 20 years. Mine settled >Hampshire County, VA (now in WV) circa 1800. He was married to Eve Wadel >or Waddel. They had sons: Pter, David, Abraham and Abel. He died in Hampshire County 1847.

  • Around 1810 a Benjamin Evans settled lands next to Cabel. He was >married to Priscilla Bosley. Around 1830, Benjamin moved to next county, Hardy, and died there 1866. On 1850 hardy Census Benjamin states he was born in PA in >1778.

Have never been able to find relationship between Caleb and Ben, although they must have been. Have also never found where in PA Ben was born and who his/their >parents >were. Could my Caleb be yours? Thanks...Mike Foreman."
