- Minnie's Death Notice reads:
- MITCHELL, Minnie Mildred - May 10, 1987, at a private nursing home, Springwood, late of Faulconbridge, beloved wife of James (deceased), much loved mother of Alice (Mrs. Gregg, Springwood), Mildred (Mrs. Owers, Cairns, Qld), Ronald (Woombye, Qld) and Alan (Springwood), fond mother-in-law to Allan Owers and Florence Mitchell and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother of their families. Aged 97 year. In God's care." She was cremated at Castlebrook Memorial Gardens, Rouse Hill and has a Memorial at Faulconbridge Cemetery (West Columbarium North Face, Row 4, Position 12)
