James H. Evans, son John Matison and Malinda Elizabeth Bond Evans, passed away at Fentress County Hospital at the age of 81, he lived in Forbus, TN. Preceded in death by his parents and wife Lora Hicks; 1 bro. Jasper W. Evans, Survived by 3 sons Robert Evans of Crossville, TN, Woodrow Evans of Munice, IN, Willard Evans of Wnedy, KY, John Evans and wife Martha of Oneida, TN. 2 daughters, Mrs. Nadine Gunter of Byrdtown, TN, Mrs. Dorothy Greer of Munice, IN. 1 sister Manda Evans of Albany, KY. Services were conducted June 6, 1967, 2 p.m. Davidson Cemetery, Pickett County, TN Mundy. Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
