Biography

Frank was born on November 3rd, 1909 in Southea, Portsmouth, England to Cornelius Evans and Ethel (Tollerfield) Evans.

He was a Chef in the Royal Navy. During his service he had the honour of meeting King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, later the Queen Mother.

Frank had Type 1 Diabetes.

He married Josephine Augusto in Cardiff around 1932. They had three children together, Gloria June, William Duncan and Lynda Ann.

He owned a cafe named Kwik Snacks in Wood Street, Cardiff.

In later life Frank enjoyed doing magic tricks for his grandchildren. He delighted in pulling coins from behind their ears.

Frank died in 1996 in Bridgend, Wales.
