Biography

Joseph was born in 1725. He passed away in 1781.

Day-1904 Jack Day
I removed Mary Pottenger as the mother of Joseph Evans. She spent her life as the wife of John Pottenger. There is no evidence that she ever married Joseph's father, or that she would have borne Joseph out of wedlock. Evans seems to be a Virginia family, while Mary was a Maryland person.
