"In the Name of God Amen, I Nathaniel Thacker of the County of Pittsylvania though Weak in body, yet through the mercy & Goodness of God; of a Sound and Perfect memory do Constitute this my last, Will & Testament, & desire it to be recorded as Such by all. First I lend unto my Wife Casse, the Plantation & Tract of land adjoining the same Containing One Hundred & fifty acres also four Negroes, Frank Jude, Sam and Moses & all my Stock of Horses Cattele [sic] hogs & sheep also all my household furniture and plantation Tools, during her life, and after her Decease, this plantation together with the One Hundred & fifty acres of land adjoining the same which, I lend, my Wife together with the Orchard, to be equally Divided between my two Daughters Molly Adkins & Lovina Malicvoat, and the Negroes Frank Jude Sam & Moses & all the stock of Horses Cattle Sheep Hogs & Household furniture."
