Biography

Elizabeth was born c1695 in St. Barnabas, Prince George's County, Maryland. An unsourced family group sheet "Gleanings"[1][2] states that Elizabeth Evans was born to unknown parents. This is not the case. Elizabeth was born to Richard Evans and Elizabeth Hall and is named in her father's will dated January 7, 1702.[3]

On 20 November 1718 she married Charles Lucas in Prince Georges County, Maryland.[4][5][6][7][8][9]
She may have borne Charles as many as fifteen children, among whom were
  1. Mary Lucas
  2. James Lucas
  3. Annie Lucas
  4. Elizabeth Lucas

According to the Swan-Hughes Bible which was photographed and transcribed in The Tenmile Country and Its Pioneer Families: A Genealogical History of the Upper Monogahela Valley, Charles and Elizabeth had the following children:[10]
