Research Notes
I found a Bertie county, NC court record of a will dated 1816 for a Frances Ashburn. However, the record shows the woman's husband is named William, and their sons named Baldy and Washington and daughters named Elizabeth and Patsey are also in the record.
Quite a few family members list this death year and location for our Frances Evans Ashburn and I believe it to be an error.
