Absalom, son of Ann Evans, was baptised on 16 October 1796 in Duddleston, Shropshire, England.^[1]

In the 1851 census Abraham (age 54) was the head of household in Christionydd-Kenwick, Denbighshire, Wales.^[2]

Research Notes

Absalom's name has been mistranscribed as "Abraham" on the 1851 census, The original image shows his name is Absalom.

Absalom Evans and Sarah Bowen are unlikely to have been the parents of Sarah as they didn't marry until 1820 and Absalom's wife would have only been 8 years old when she was born! It is also unlikely they would have had two living daughters both called Sarah.
