In 1870 she was living with her married sister Margaret McPherson in Blairstown, Benton County, Iowa. She married Harmon B. Brazee (as his name was spelt in the record) in 1878 in Brownsville. In 1900 they were living in La Crosse, La Crosse County, Wisconsin. Her husband's occupation is illegible. The enumerator recorded incorrect details for Esther, saying she was born in 1865 in New York and married for 11 years. She was alive in 1910 but she cannot be traced in the 1920 or 1930 Federal Censuses. She and Harmon Bresee had no children.
